I've been through a lot of headphones over the years and these are genuinely something else. Put them on for the first time on my commute and I just sat there smiling like an idiot. The noise cancelling cuts everything — train noise, people talking, all of it. Sound quality is exceptional, really detailed without being fatiguing. OK so I was skeptical because I'd never heard of Aurion before. Took a chance and I'm genuinely shocked at how good these are. The noise cancelling alone is worth it — I live next to a busy road and working from home has become an actual pleasure. Sound is rich without being over-produced. Bass is there but doesn't drown everything out. Really impressive.

Mixed feelings on these. The sound quality is genuinely good — no complaints there, it's clear and well balanced. But for the price I expected more from the build. The finish picks up fingerprints immediately and the carry case feels a bit flimsy compared to what I've seen from competitors. ANC is solid but I've used headphones that handle wind noise better. As someone who takes audio quality seriously, I'll be direct: the Pure X6 deliver. The soundstage is wider than I expected from a closed-back design, mids are articulate and the highs don't fatigue even on extended listening sessions. Active noise cancellation is among the best I've tested at this price point — adaptive and intelligent, not just a blanket filter. Transparency mode is natural enough to hold conversations without removing the headphones. A few minor points: the app UI could be better structured, and the coating attracts fingerprints. They sound great, I'll give them that. But I've had them for about a month now and I'm finding the earcups get quite warm after an hour or so which gets uncomfortable. Also had one instance where the Bluetooth dropped and I had to re-pair — only happened once but still. For this price I expect things to just work perfectly all the time. The noise cancelling is genuinely impressive though and the battery life is excellent. On the fence about whether I'd buy again honestly.

Upgraded from the XM4 so here's my honest take.

Sound is noticeably more balanced — the XM4 always leaned a bit heavy on bass which got muddy on complex tracks. The X6 is cleaner across the board, mids and highs come through properly. ANC is better too, especially on inconsistent noise like voices. The XM4 was already great but the X6 handles it more naturally, less of that pressurized feeling. Transparency mode is also miles ahead — actually sounds realistic instead of processed.

Comfort is slightly improved, earcups are softer and the fit feels more secure.

Not a night and day difference if you're happy with your XM4s. But if sound quality matters to you, the X6 is the better headphone. Glad I switched.

I sleep during the day because of shift work and needed something to block out daytime noise while I study before bed. These do the job perfectly. The ANC is seriously powerful — neighbors, traffic, all of it just disappears. I'm not an audiophile so I can't go super technical on the sound but it sounds great to me, very clear. Comfortable enough to wear for hours. Took a star off because setup wasn't totally straightforward but customer support was helpful. Happy customer.

Just wow. Wasn't expecting to be this impressed. Tried them first without music just to test the ANC and literally couldn't hear a thing — sitting in a coffee shop and total silence. The sound quality is good — genuinely good — but I found the bass slightly overdone for my taste even after tweaking the EQ in the app. The ANC is strong on low rumble-type noise (traffic, engines) but voices come through more than I'd like in busy environments.
